The Drum+Base Range was born from the requirement to consider an aesthetic height adjustable system for more appropriate use within typical collaborative/meeting settings, and for use as hot desking and workstations. Adaptability, functionality and improved usability were key factors to be included to meet a range of applications, all built around a single design module, with classic architectural features such as cantilever tops and a simple powder coated rolled steel drum base. Practical considerations such as seamless power and data reticulation within the drum, accessories built within the robust supporting sub-frame to maintain the slimline appearance of the overall design were other pre-requisites.
