Ka Wai Yeung is an award-winning architect with a decade of international experience in property development and consultation, planning and architecture from Hong Kong to Australia’s globally renowned firms HASSELL Studio and PTW Architects.
She is the cofounder of architectural firm Kaunitz Yeung Architecture, whose projects have received local and international recognition including receiving several awards at the European Healthcare Design awards, World Community Architecture awards and most recently the world’s most prestigious humanitarian architecture award, the Vassilis Sgoutas prize for Implemented Architecture Serving the Impoverished.
Ka Wai is passionate in education and has been tutoring design and design communications at University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, and University Technology Sydney (UTS) since 2007. Now with two young children, she is delighted to be designing and delivering projects in the education sector, as she believes strongly in how the environment plays a vital role to support children’s learning.
