About Us

INDE.Awards is the world’s only architecture and design awards programme to encompass the entire region and its progressive and intuitive design vernacular. Every year, the INDE.Awards acts as a barometer of our progress as an industry and a region, a platform through which projects, people and products from the last year can be elevated, celebrated and recognised across the globe. Since the awards were first launched in 2017, they have attracted entries from over 14 countries across the Indo-Pacific.

Category-Specific Rules & Criteria

CAN I SUBMIT A PROJECT/PRODUCT THAT IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION?
No. All projects/products must be 100% finished works at the time of entry submission. Display suites created for developers’ property sales do not qualify for entry.

IS THERE A TIME PERIOD IN WHICH MY PROJECT/PRODUCT MUST HAVE BEEN COMPLETED?
Yes. Your project/product must have been completed between 23rd February, 2024 and 22nd February, 2025.

Speculative or unfinished projects, client pitches and/or mock-ups will not be considered valid. The only exception to this is The Influencer category, which is open to concepts.

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE COMPLETION DATE OF A ‘CONCEPT’ (FOR ‘THE INFLUENCER’ CATEGORY)?
It’s the date you first publicised the project. If you haven’t publicised the project, it’s the date you stopped working on it (i.e. the design was complete).

FOR ‘THE OBJECT’ CATEGORY, MUST MY PRODUCT BE AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET?
Yes. It can be anywhere on the spectrum from ‘mass produced’ to ‘produced on demand’, but it must be available for purchase.

HOW CAN I BE NOMINATED FOR THE LUMINARY AND PRODIGY AWARDS?
The Luminary and Prodigy Awards are not open for self-nomination. Our panel of INDE. Experts and Indesign Media Editors nominate the recipients of The Luminary and The Prodigy accolades. The INDE.Awards Jury will select The Luminary of the Year and The Prodigy of the Year, who will each receive a trophy.

Image & File Requirements

HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I SUBMIT?
You can submit a maximum of 10 images per entry. We recommend at least 6 images. For The Design Studio, please include a headshot or portrait shot of your team.

WHAT SIZE DO THE IMAGES NEED TO BE?
Please ensure your images are of the highest quality. We suggest a minimum of 1920 x 1080 pixels (300 DPI) in landscape orientation. We will NOT accept pixelated images. You’ll be prompted to include your photographer’s name in your entry so the photography can be credited if your entry is publicised.

MUST MY IMAGES BE IN LANDSCAPE FORMAT?
No, we also accept portrait format, but if you have some landscape-format shots available, please include them.

WHAT FILE TYPE DO THE IMAGES NEED TO BE?
Please submit your images in JPG or PNG format. All other file types are not accepted. You are able to upload up to 10 photos, and 5 documents (including drawings and floorplans).

WHAT TEXT DO I NEED TO SUBMIT?
The requested text descriptions vary slightly across the categories. The entry form asks for basic details (such as design/architecture firm’s name, project title, project location and photographer’s name), specification details (for applicable categories), as well as more descriptive paragraphs. To view the entry form for each category, you can register to enter at our Entry Portal accessed through indeawards.com, and view the online entry form for each category with no commitment to lodge an entry.
